SRCWA Country Music Shows a Big Hit Once Again

Country Music Shows 2017

The weekend of the 8th and 9th of July 2017 saw two SRCWA Country Music Shows performed for very enthusiastic audiences. The weekend commenced in the Peel region at the Mandurah Seniors and Community Centre and then it was on the road again to the Morley Sport and Recreation Centre. Both venues were filled to capacity and the audiences were treated to an outstanding show presented by SRCWA Vice President Phil Paddon and Terry Bennetts from Red Dog Music. Our performing artists Laura Downing, Brian Letton, Band of Mates (Terry Bennetts, Evan Platschinda and Ginger Cox), Kingsley Day and Phil Rego enthralled the crowds with their songs, comedy and musical abilities. Before both of the shows Ian Fletcher played his hand made 3 string guitar and Sarah Broome sang during the intermissions. Seniors Recreation Council would like to say a big thank you for all the hard work done by its volunteers and staff and also to Jan and the volunteers from the Peel Branch and especially Phil and Pat Paddon for their work in making these events a resounding success. Y'all come back now, see you at our Christmas Show on 6th December.
